Extra-murals

We believe in the importance of extra-mural activities as a vital part of developing new skills, building teamwork and social interaction and getting some much needed exercise. Oxford Training Centre have recently joined the Vaal West Christian Schools Sporting Association (VWCSSA), a regional division of the Southern African Christian Schools Sport Association (SACSSA). It allows students to compete in local, regional, and national sports tournaments.  We also encourage participation in the Vereeniging Arts Festival and also take the children on various outings.

• Chess club (registered at Sedibeng Chess and our students have participated at Provincial level)

Cultural Activities:

• Poetry and Prose (Arts Festival and Poetry Society)
• Public Speaking (students participate at Podium Pret and the Interschool Public Speaking League)
